Mustard-OD

The MUSTARD from Red Ant  is a twist on the ELECTRA DISTORTION (which was originally a built-in feature in ELECTRA guitars). The one-transistor circuit uses 3 diodes for a asymmetrical clipping. The pedal is very dynamic and responsive to the guitar’s VOLUME knob and the player’s picking hand dynamics. There is one control only, as minimal as you can get, which controls the amount of GAIN.

It is powered from a standard 9-volt power supply (9-10 V,30-500 mA, 2.1mm center negative adapter). Of course, true bypass switching, reverse polarity protection, red status LED and the use of quality components (alpha switch, amphenol connectors, alpha potentiometers, wima, epcos, samwha, nichicon, elna capacitors, matching wiring, etc.).
