Muscle-Boost

MUSCLE by RED ANT is a germanium preamp-booster based on the legendary Dallas Rangemaster treble booster and its modern derivatives (EQD Bows, AnalogMan Beano boost...). The heart of the preamp is the NOS germanium transistor 1T308V, which provides a warm and round vintage sound, exactly what we would expect from a box of this type. Control consists of a MASTER output level potentiometer and a three-position RANGE switch that switches between treble, middle and full ranges.

It is powered from a standard 9-volt power supply (9-10 V,30-500 mA, 2.1mm center negative adapter). Of course, true bypass switching, reverse polarity protection, red status LED and the use of quality components (alpha switch, amphenol connectors, alpha potentiometers, wima, epcos, samwha, nichicon, elna capacitors, matching wiring, etc.).
